Privacy Policy

The short version: when you use the Command Center signed in, your school's records are stored in your account so you can reach them from any device. We hold them, we can technically see them, we do not look at them, and you can export everything and leave whenever you want.

1. Your school's records

Everything you enter into the Command Center — school details, programs, roadmap tasks, documents, students, staff credentials, payments and expenses — is stored in your account on our hosted platform when you are signed in. That is what lets you close the laptop, open your phone, and carry on.

We are being exact about this because an earlier version of this policy said the opposite. Your records sit in our database. Access is scoped to your organisation at the database level, so no other school can reach them, and no member of your team sees anything outside your own school. Our staff can technically access the database, because somebody has to be able to restore a backup or fix a fault. We do not read your student records, we do not analyse them, we do not train anything on them, and we do not sell or share them.

You are never locked in. One click in School Profile exports your entire school as a file you keep. You can also download the Command Center itself and run it offline, with no account and no connection — and it keeps working if we stop trading. That copy is yours under your licence.

If you use that downloaded copy without signing in, it stores everything in your own browser and sends us nothing. In that mode we genuinely cannot see it, cannot recover it, and cannot restore it if you lose it — so backups are entirely your job.

The one thing the file requests from outside your device is a web font, loaded from Google Fonts the first time you open it. After that it runs offline.

2. What we do collect

• When you activate: your name, email address and purchase details, held by our payment processor. We receive the record of the sale; we never see or store your full card number.
• While your licence is active: your billing status and renewal dates, so we know whether your access is current, plus basic records of which resources you have downloaded.
• While you use the hosted platform: your school's records as described above, your sign-in email, and a log of saves so that two people editing at once do not overwrite each other.
• When you write to us: your name, email address and whatever you put in the message.
• When you visit the website: ordinary, aggregate traffic information such as pages viewed and rough location by region. We do not build advertising profiles.

3. Why we hold it

To deliver what you bought, send your access and any tier extras, answer your questions, honour support commitments, keep accounting records, and occasionally send product updates or offers. You can opt out of the last one at any time and it will not affect your license or support.

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business — our payment processor, our email provider and our website host — and only to the extent they need it to perform that function. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Purchase and support records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty obligations. Contact-form messages are kept while the conversation is useful and then deleted. Marketing contacts are removed on request.

Your school's records. We keep them for as long as your licence is active, and for ninety days after it ends so that you can sign in and export everything. After ninety days they are deleted and cannot be recovered. Ask us at any time inside that window and we will export them for you. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will.

5a. If something goes wrong

If we discover a breach affecting your school's records, we will tell you what happened, what was affected and what we are doing about it, without waiting to be asked and without waiting for certainty about the full scope. You will hear it from us first.

6. Your choices

• Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
• Ask us to correct or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law.
• Unsubscribe from any email we send.
• Export your entire school at any time, from School Profile → Back up my data.
• Delete your Command Center data yourself at any time, from School Profile → Erase everything and reset, or by asking us to remove it from the hosted platform.

7. Your students' privacy is your responsibility

If you enter student information into the Command Center, you remain the custodian of those records and we hold them on your behalf. Deciding what to collect, who on your team may see it, how long to keep it, and complying with any student-records, health-information or privacy laws that apply to your school are your obligations, not ours. We will not use those records for any purpose other than running the platform for you.

Give people the least access they need — a member added as read-only can see the school but cannot change it. Remove people who leave. And if you use the downloaded copy, secure the device and encrypt your backups.

8. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults operating or opening a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes and contact
